Our Mission
We are constantly looking for ways to support and grow the global kendama community. Through sponsoring and supporting both publicly and privately hosted kendama events around the world, we aim to inspire players of all backgrounds to experience the physical, social, mental, and emotional benefits that kendama offers.
Our mission is rooted in accessibility, inclusivity, and positive impact—on and off the string.

Active Kendama is powered by a diverse international team of players from the USA, Sweden, Singapore, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Hong Kong, and Japan. We believe in community over competition, and each player brings a unique style, perspective, and skill set that they openly share with the community.
Together, we push kendama forward while lifting each other up.
What Is Kendama?
Kendama (けん玉) is a traditional Japanese skill toy that builds focus, coordination, teamwork, and self-confidence. What starts as learning a simple trick often becomes a lifelong journey of creativity, progression, and self-expression.
Quality Without Barriers
Active Kendama produces high-quality, designer-level kendamas while keeping them affordable for players of all skill levels. From beginners to advanced players, our goal is to provide thoughtfully designed products that support progression without creating barriers to entry.
ActiveCares & Giving Back
Through ActiveCares, we extend our mission beyond kendama by supporting projects that create positive impact through collaboration.
Our initiatives include Autism Awareness projects in collaboration with Kendama Cares, as well as supporting the USA Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams. These efforts reflect our belief that community, movement, and inclusion go hand in hand.
